Automated Micro Needling (also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of skin’s texture, tone and color.
During the procedure, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. During the skin’s repair process the body produces new collagen and elastin, and this creates a thicker dermis, softer wrinkles, and smother skin.
For our Micro Needling treatments we use Eclipse MicroPen.
What are the benefits of Micro Needling?

- for most patients it can be done at any time of the year
- It has minimal downtime and it is very affordable.
- Micro Needling can be used on all parts of the body- face, neck, chest, abdomen
- It is a good treatment for:

- Uneven skin tone
How is the procedure done?
A topical numbing ointment is applied prior to treatment for one hour. During treatment, a sterile needle-tip containing 12 tiny micro-needles is attached to the Eclipse MicroPen. Your face is cleaned and a thin layer of hyaluronic acid is applied. Based on your individual needs and the issue being addressed, the appropriate needle depth is selected and the treatment is performed using several passes micropen over the entire surface area. Patients experience mild discomfort and some areas may be more sensitive, most patients say the treatment is comfortable. The treatment takes from 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete.
How many treatments do I need? When will I see results?
The number of treatments varies but usually it is recommended that a series of three or more is done. The treatments are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Visible changes to the skin develop over several weeks and results continue to improve up to 6 months after treatment as collagen production continues.
